The St. Elisabeth Hospital Geilkirchen, founded in the year 1872 by the Order of Augustinian nuns, is a modern, service-oriented facility that ensures emergency care for a growing commuter belt of approx. 80,000 inhabitants. The health centre and the outpatient rehab offers citizens the opportunity to do something actively for their own health, to inform themselves, or, alternatively, to have rehabilitation services performed close to their home.
500 employees are very active 24 hours a day 365 days a year in the St. Elisabeth Hospital in helping approx. 8500 inpatient and approx. 20,000 outpatient patients per year. We want all of them to feel as comfortable as possible with us and we guarantee that you will be taken care of and treated competently. Our top priority, however, is that they become as healthy as possible and can return to their domestic surroundings.
All this can only be done with a well-schooled, competent team which deals with one other collegially and without complications. The size of our hospital assumes a capacity for interdisciplinary work. The "shortened official channels" benefit in this case everyone, but most of all our patients.
